MATERIA is a design studio based in the Hudson Valley region of New York that focuses on crafting made to order furniture, lighting and objects that amplify the inherent beauty found in raw, elegant materials such as stone, brass, calfskin, parchment, steel, porcelain and wood.
Inspired by the iconic architectural details of cast iron facades visible throughout SoHo, ASPECT is a family of four striking upholstered furnishings.
The ASPECT upholstery collection is made by hand in New York’s Hudson Valley using the highest quality materials and craftsmanship, and is highly customizable to suit every environment.
Because our entire ASPECT upholstery collection is made to order in the Hudson Valley, our 6-8 week lead times are extremely reliable, and we also offer a RUSH service on our upholstered goods that cuts our current lead times in half.
In addition to serving our valued retail clients, MATERIA welcomes the opportunity to work with interior designers, architects and other design professionals on both residential and commercial projects. All of our designs are highly customizable, as each piece is made to order in our upstate New York studio.
