GENERAL:


How do I place an order?

Where are your products made?

All of our products are made by hand in New York and New England, of foreign and domestic components.  Many of these components are made by a small group of artisans in New York and New England that we have worked with for many years. 


What is your return policy?

All of our lighting and furniture pieces are made by hand and to-order, so we are unable to accept order cancellations or returns. Antiques purchases are final sale. 


Do you have sales?

Very rarely, however our newsletter subscribers receive early access. SUBSCRIBE to our newsletter to be the first to find out when we are having a floor model sale.


Can I order material sample sets?

Yes! Please purchase furniture and lighting sample sets HERE.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. If you are located outside of the United States, please email us for a shipping quote. Please note that you will be responsible for all applicable taxes, duties, tariffs and fees.


What lightbulbs do your fixtures require?

Many of our fixtures use custom MATERIA lightbulbs, which can be purchased HERE. Other fixtures use standard bulbs available online or at your local retailers. Each lighting fixture’s webpage and tearsheet indicates which bulb(s) are required. 


When will my order ship?

Once you have contacted our sales team to place an order, your ship date will be shown on your invoice. Lighting lead times are generally 12-14 weeks, and furniture lead times vary by collection from 8-20 weeks. RUSH orders are also available.


How do I clean my lighting fixture?

Never use water or any type of solvent or cleaners on any part of any fixture or shade, as this can seriously damage or remove the hand-applied brass patinas, as well as stain leather, linen or parchment shades. 

Clean the fixture only when it and the shades are cool to the touch. Dust gently using a feather duster or microfiber cloth for the shades, as well as the wooden and brass armatures. After installation, never move the fixture while cleaning.  

Can I order replacement parts for my fixture? 

In specific circumstances, yes.  Please reach out to our sales team at 646-476-2623 or by sending us an email with your request.


Do you provide repairs for damaged pieces?

In specific cases, yes. Please email our sales team or call 646.476.2623 to discuss your repair needs. 


Where can I see MATERIA pieces in person? 

Our SoHo, New York gallery is temporarily closed as we prepare for our next exciting phase. In the meantime, please visit one of our STOCKISTS to see our collection in person.

Do you offer trade accounts?

Yes! Please sign up for our trade program HERE.


Do you offer trade pricing?

Yes! We offer a 15% discount to qualified Architects and Interior Designers who join our trade program.

How do I login to your trade portal?

After you have submitted your trade program application and received confirmation from our team that you have been enrolled, please login to the trade portal HERE with the password provided to you.  Trade pricing, tour digital lookbook, tearsheets and other useful information is available through the portal.


Do you offer sample sets?

Do you offer commercial/bulk order discounts? 

Yes, in some cases. Please call our sales team at 646.476.2623 or send an email to discuss your project needs.

CUSTOMIZATIONS:


Do you offer customizations to your existing furniture and lighting pieces?

Yes! One of the main advantages of making all of our pieces by hand, to-order in New York and New England is that we are able to customize almost all of our pieces for your projects’ specific needs. 


Can I order a custom material?

In some cases! It depends on the specifics of your request; please reach out to our sales team at 646-476-2623 or by sending an email for detailed information.  


Can I customize the color of a specific material?

In specific instances yes; for example we do offer custom porcelain and glass colors, for a minimum quantity of shades, and we can also offer custom leather colors. Please reach out to our sales team at 646-476-2623 or by sending an email for more detailed information.  


Can I customize the size of a lighting fixture or piece of furniture?

Yes! In almost all cases, dimensions of our lighting and furniture can be customized. We can also create entirely custom pieces, ie a FORCHETTE 20 chandelier, or a U-shaped Nita sofa. Please reach out to our sales team at 646-476-2623 or by sending an email for detailed information.
